When Can I Begin Using the Cradle for My Baby?
Our cradle is the perfect first place for your baby to sleep—from newborn and up to 6 months (or max. 17.5 lbs/8 kg).
How Is BabyBjörn Baby Cradle Safe for My Baby?
The cradle is tested and approved according to the safety standard EN 1130. It stands firmly on the floor and has sturdy anti-slip feet. The airy mesh fabric makes the cradle cool and safe and also gives you good supervision of your little one.
Can I Wash the Cradle?
Children are wonderful, and they are also wonderfully skilled at making a mess—so we always make sure our products are easy to clean. The cradle’s mesh fabric, mattress and mattress cover are easy to remove and, naturally, machine washable.
Is There Bed Linen that Fits the Cradle?
Yes, we have fitted sheets in soft, organic cotton, specially designed for the cradle. View our cradle sheets.
Can I Fold Up the cradle?
Yes, you can easily fold up the cradle, and when folded it only measures 5 in/13 cm high. Perfect for storing at home or bringing along when you’re on the go.
Age for newborns to approx. 6 months (max. 18 lbs/8 kg). You can use the cradle until your baby weighs 18 lbs/8 kg or can sit up, kneel or stand unaided.

Care Instructions
Machine wash the mattress and the mattress cover on hot (60°C). The mesh fabric sides are machine washable on warm (40°C). We recommend that you use an eco-friendly, mild and bleach-free detergent. Do not tumble dry.
